For those of you that couldn’t make it when West African fusion artist Mr. Eazi hit up London’s Hippodrome Casino with a live show, of course NATV was on hand to bring the night’s entertainment straight to you.
The evening opened up with Tomi Agape, the charismatic singer-songwriter who warmed the crowd up with her rare brand of smooth, classic RnB melodies. Having wetted their appetite, the night’s main course was then served up to the expectant crowd, as Mr. Eazi took to the stage wearing his distinctive Speedy Gonzalez style sombrero and delivered his show, rapping over dancehall infused beats, accompanies by a live band.
Born and raised in Lagos Nigeria before studying and making his music in Ghana, Eazi proudly calls himself a man of no nationality, a worldwide citizen, and the diverse range of influences are self evident in his music. This guy is really doing something different, and it’s time everyone sits up and takes notice.
